Q: Do I need a referral?

Not always. Many Belong Health services can be accessed without a referral. Some funding pathways, including Medicare and certain specialist referral pathways, may require a referral from a GP, paediatrician, psychiatrist or another healthcare professional.

Q: What ages do you support?

Belong Health supports children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Services are tailored to each person's age, goals, circumstances, strengths and individual support needs.

Q: Where do you provide services?

Belong Health supports participants throughout Perth, Mandurah, the Peel region and across Western Australia. Depending on the service and clinician, appointments may be available at the Falcon clinic, in the participant's home, at school or childcare, in the workplace, within the community or through telehealth.

Q: Do you offer home visits?

Yes. Many Belong Health clinicians provide home visits where clinically appropriate. Providing services in a person's everyday environment can help ensure recommendations and strategies are relevant to their routines, circumstances and goals. Availability varies by clinician, service and location.

Q: Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes. Many Belong Health allied health services are available through secure telehealth across Western Australia. Telehealth may be suitable when it is clinically appropriate or when travelling to an appointment is not practical.

Q: Can I choose my clinician?

Where possible, yes. Belong Health thoughtfully matches participants with clinicians based on their goals, support needs, personality, preferred location and the clinician's areas of experience. For many services, a free 20-minute Connect Session is also available so participants and families can meet the clinician and consider whether the match feels right.

Q: Do your clinicians work together?

Yes. Belong Health's multidisciplinary team may collaborate with one another and, where appropriate, with families, carers, educators, healthcare professionals, Support Coordinators and other members of the participant's support network. This helps promote practical, coordinated and person-centred recommendations.

Our Therapy Assistants work under the guidance and supervision of qualified allied health professionals to help participants practise therapy goals between clinician-led sessions.

This collaborative approach can increase opportunities for skill development, build confidence and help participants make meaningful progress while maintaining continuity of care.

Therapy Assistant services are tailored to each participant's therapy plan and are delivered in consultation with the supervising clinician.

What is Belong Health?

Our multidisciplinary team provides Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology Assessments, Counselling, and Therapy Assistant services through clinic, home, school, workplace, community and telehealth appointments.

Is Belong Health an NDIS registered provider?
Yes.
Belong Health is a registered NDIS provider and supports participants across a range of NDIS funding categories. Depending on your circumstances, we may also provide services through Medicare, Private Health Insurance, DVA and private funding.
If you're unsure whether your funding can be used, our administration team is happy to discuss your options.

Do I need a referral?
Not always.
Many of our services can be accessed without a referral.
However, some funding pathways, including Medicare and certain specialist referrals, may require a referral from your GP, Paediatrician, Psychiatrist or another healthcare professional.
If you're unsure, simply contact our team and we'll guide you through the process.

Do you offer home visits?
Yes.
Many of our clinicians provide home visits where appropriate.
Providing therapy within a person's everyday environment often allows recommendations and strategies to be tailored to their daily routines and individual goals.
Service availability may vary depending on the clinician and location.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes.
Many of our allied health services are available via secure telehealth, allowing individuals and families throughout Western Australia to access support from the comfort of their own home.
Telehealth may also be recommended when it is clinically appropriate or when travelling to appointments isn't practical.

Can I choose my clinician?
Where possible, yes.
We take the time to thoughtfully match participants with clinicians based on their goals, support needs, personality, location and the clinician's areas of expertise.
For many services, we also offer a Free 20-Minute Connect Session, giving participants and families the opportunity to meet their clinician and decide whether they feel it's the right fit before therapy begins.

Do your clinicians work together?
Absolutely.
Our multidisciplinary team regularly collaborates with one another, as well as with families, carers, educators, healthcare professionals, support coordinators and other members of a participant's support network.
This collaborative approach helps ensure recommendations are practical, coordinated and focused on achieving meaningful outcomes.
