Confidence, Self-Esteem & Identity Support
Counselling Support for Children, Teenagers & Adults
How we think and feel about ourselves can influence many areas of everyday life.
Our sense of self can affect whether we:
A child who repeatedly finds school difficult may begin believing they are not capable. A teenager who experiences bullying or exclusion may start questioning whether they belong. An adult who has spent years comparing themselves with others may develop deeply held negative beliefs about themselves.
For neurodivergent people, experiences such as being misunderstood, repeatedly corrected, excluded, masking or receiving an Autism or ADHD diagnosis later in life may also influence identity and self-understanding.
Belong Health provides person-centred, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming counselling for children aged 7+, teenagers and adults experiencing difficulties relating to confidence, self-esteem, identity and self-concept.
In-clinic counselling is available from our Falcon clinic near Mandurah, with telehealth counselling across Perth and Western Australia where clinically appropriate.
